PAYMENT TERMS
100% PAYMENT REQUIRED: All Degrees of Resilience™ services require full payment at the time of booking. Your payment secures your reservation and confirms your agreement to these terms.
NO PARTIAL PAYMENTS: We do not offer partial payment or payment plan options for services under $500. For services over $500, please contact us directly to discuss available options.
PAYMENT METHODS: We accept credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal. All payments are processed through secure, encrypted systems.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION: You will receive an email confirmation once your payment is processed. This email will include your session details and preparation instructions.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
48+ HOURS NOTICE: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment will receive a 100% refund.
24-48 HOURS NOTICE: Cancellations made between 24-48 hours before your appointment will receive a 50% refund.
LESS THAN 24 HOURS: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will not be refunded.
NO-SHOWS: If you fail to attend your scheduled session without prior notice, no refund will be provided.
RESCHEDULING: You may reschedule once without penalty if done at least 24 hours before your appointment. Additional reschedules or changes within 24 hours incur a $25 fee.

Degrees of Resilience™ is authorized to provide ONLY the following services:

- All disputes must be resolved on an individual basis
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
1. Damage Caps
- Degrees of Resilience™ liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service in dispute
- In no event shall Degrees of Resilience™ be liable for indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages
2. Time Limitation
- Any legal claim must be initiated within one (1) year after the cause of action arises
3. Indemnification
- Clients and counselors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Degrees of Resilience™ from claims arising from their misuse of services or violation of policies
ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
1. Prohibited Activities
- Attempting to access unauthorized areas of the platform
- Testing for vulnerabilities or circumventing security measures
- Using automated systems to access or scrape content
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limitations or restrictions
2. Abusive Behavior
- Harassment, intimidation, or threatening of counselors or staff
- Excessive or unreasonable demands beyond the scope of purchased services
- Abusive language or inappropriate communications
- Using services to engage in illegal activities or promote harmful behavior
3. Content Restrictions
- Uploading malicious software or files
- Sharing sexually explicit, defamatory, or harassing content
- Distributing unauthorized copyrighted materials
- Sharing confidential information about other individuals
ENFORCEMENT & PENALTIES
1. Monitoring
- All platform activities and communications may be monitored for policy compliance
- Communications are subject to review for adherence to acceptable use policies
2. Violation Consequences
- First violation: Warning and temporary service limitation
- Second violation: Service suspension for up to 30 days
- Third violation: Permanent account termination without refund
- Severe violations may result in immediate permanent termination without progressive discipline
3. Law Enforcement Reporting
- Degrees of Resilience™ will report illegal activities to appropriate authorities
- We will cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations of potential crimes
MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
1. Update Process
- Policies may be updated periodically to reflect service changes or legal requirements
- Material changes will be announced via email at least 14 days before implementation
- Continued use of services after policy updates constitutes acceptance of new terms
2. Historic Policies
- Archives of previous policy versions will be available upon request
- The effective date will be clearly noted on all policy documents
3. Objection Process
- Users who object to policy changes may cancel services without penalty if done before new policies take effect
- No partial refunds will be issued for subscription services already paid
By using Degrees of Resilience™ services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all policies described herein.
